The relationship between Obi-wan and Anakin is by far my favorite in the Star Wars series. They were brought together under less than desirable circumstances, which they were able to overcome. From there they developed an incredibly close relationship, only to be torn apart in a way that would be utterly unbearable to the average person. From beginning to end, their story is one of intense emotion and heartbreak. No other fictional relationship has ever affected me in the way that this one does, and I'm so so so happy to have to chance to run this fanlisting.
